- Thermoforming
It is an already old technology as it dates back to the 1960’s. It has quickly developed because it allows the manufacturing of items for food packaging as well as for industry at quick pace and with initial light material. It may be regarded as a subsidiary technology as it uses a half-product (layer or coil material). An industrial sector has thus developed downstream from the main conversion process namely the extrusion. After having mentioned the many proposed processes, special attention will be paid to the three major aspects of this technology:
- The material (half-product)
- The tool
- The mould
- • Production tools and highly performing equipment
Plastiform boasts modern installations and highly performing high technology equipment. It may convert various materials into real items. Our automated lines of production are ideal to convert PS, OPS and PET from 150 microns over a forming surface of as much as 600 mm.
- Research and development
Our Development and Design department was created in order to meet the increasing expectations of our customers. It examines your needs and achieves the design, plans and prototype development. Our team of experienced professionals also ensures the follow up and the quality of the product during its execution by the mould makers.
- • Quality control
Plastiform is also a team of vibrant staff who use appropriate software for the quality control of our production:
- CAPM allows managing production on a daily basis.
- CAMM is used by the Maintenance division.
Thanks to its teams who are concerned with costumer satisfaction, Plastiform has succeeded to establish and ensure the use of a Quality Management system which especially earned the company its certification ISO 9001 version 2000.
